Tune it down to Sexy
Here is a new idea I’m working on. It’s what I do and what I’m working on. So let’s all tune it down to sexy and let’s play all day. A new original song. Cha.

Yes, I’m an American. That was once a good thing. We used to be the good guys. Our standing in the world has fallen. I believe we can recapture our glory. But we can’t do it with apathy, greed, self-indulgence on a personal level. We can’t do it with those things and torture and war on a governmental level.
Yes, I’m an American. I want to be able to say that with pride again some day. It is a new original song I am working on. I’m not ready to give up yet. We do need to change our ways.
This is an original song about a subject dear to a man’s heart. The guitar is an Explorer copy I had made by John Gray long ago. Bill Lawrence double coil pickups and ebony fretboard. Gibson style neck, has a great feel. Don’t tell the Tele, this is my fav guitar to play. It’s got playability. Meh.
First verse and chorus for “I’ve Got Wood”. I’m playing the Telecaster from 1971 and Bzzz is on the SPD 20. No stripped down kit, just the SPD. We most often use a hi hat and snare with the SPD for rehearsal. I am playing through a Marshall tube amp with a straight front 4×12 and a Mesa Boogie 1×12 EV. No effects most of the time. I like the amp sound.
This one is What If I Had. I am using the 55 Les Paul with a Marshall 4×12 straight front bottom in stereo with a Mesa Boogie 1×12, and a black shirt. eh
More Friday morning music. I like to drive is the tune. Just verse chorus today. More to come
Gonna upload a few songs and song ideas to youtube. Here is the first one. Five5five is the song. It is a fun one to play early in the morning.
Tell your friends.
Yes I finally got Pro Tools and came into the real world of computer music. I have dabbled for years with Cubase and Alesis stuff as well as Peak for mastering. But Pro Tools seems to be what more people are using. My feeling has always been to do what everyone else is not. However this will allow my files to be accessed by any studio I might use.
Sure to be a learning curve ahead but the conventions are straightforward (mixer, transport, etc.) and the editing ease looks awesome. Already pulling up old songs to give a new feel. I will be glad to spend more time on creating. Plug ins are sweet.
